This publication was produced to accompany the exhibition Twelve at Tramway, Glasgow, partnering Barbara Kruger at Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow. Twelve reflects Kruger's move into film and video installation over the past ten years, a logical development considering the artist's concern with modes of mass communication and media culture in her previous text and image based works. It includes extracts from a conversation between Barbara Kruger and John Calcutt.
